
Music program gets PAASCU accreditation
The Music Program of °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ College of Performing and Visual Arts (COPVA) is now accredited.

The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) in a letter addressed to Dr. Betty Cernol-McCann, SU president, granted the initial accreditation to the Bachelor of Music program for three years, valid until May 2023.
Dr. Elizabeth Susan Vista-Suarez, COPVA dean, said: “As the dean of the College of Performing and Visual Arts, I am very proud that the PAASCU has granted to the Music Department accreditation for three years. This is a milestone for the Music Department because we were granted accreditation on our first application. I am very proud of the faculty and staff who have made this happen. To God be the glory.â€
PAASCU is an accrediting body that grants recognition to an educational institution or program after meeting accepted standards of academic quality through evaluation.
