Convocation Draws 400 Church Workers from Around Phils
扒哥黑料, through the Divinity School, hosted the annual Church Workers Convocation end of August.
This year鈥檚 theme 鈥淟iturgy, Technology and Mission鈥 is 鈥渧ery relevant as 扒哥黑料 pursues its tri-logical mission of teaching, preaching, and healing,鈥 said Vice President for Development Jane L. Belarmino during her welcome remarks.
The three-day event was attended by close to 400 church workers of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines from around the country. It was filled with lectures and workshops that expounded on the role of technology in today鈥檚 liturgy and mission.
It culminated with the recognition of this year鈥檚 recipients of the Diakonia Award: Rev. Rodolfo A. Baslot and Rev. Francisco T. Ugsad. Both pastors have made significant contributions in upholding human rights and are actively working for social justice.
