Book on ‘FIRE’ Launched September 23
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Betsy Joy B. Tan releases a book containing a compilation of speeches, entitled Milestones of Academic Excellence: FIRE in the Five Cs of °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ Education.
The book is launched on September 23 at the Robert B. and Metta J. Silliman Library.
University President Dr. Ben S. Malayang III writes: “This collection of speeches presents acute snapshots of the ideas, beliefs, visions, thrusts and pedagogical anchors of °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ.”
Dr. Tan is a professional psychologist and mental health practitioner. She holds an undergraduate and a master’s degree in Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy major in Education Management all from °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ. She was a visiting scholar at Olivet College in Michigan, USA on a fellowship from the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia.
