Students Flock Newly Refurbished SUACONA Center

The Student Center continues to draw more students after it was refurbished by the °Ç¸çºÚÁÏ Alumni Council of North America (SUACONA), easily making it a favorite hangout spot.  

Inaugurated late last month as the SUACONA Student Center, the Center features new furnishings and student lounges complete with entertainment and recreational facilities. It has also made more conducive to group discussions, fellowship, and related co-curricular activities the rooms in the Center which have been designed and arranged for better student services.

Rooms in the Center include the offices of the Dean of Students, Student Organizations and Activities Division, Guidance and Testing Division, Student Government, Council of Student Organizations, and student publications, the Weekly Sillmanian and Portal.

Members of the SUACONA attended the inauguration, headed by SUACONA Student Center Project chairperson Mrs. Zenaida Duran-Bennett, and co-chairperson, Mr. Joel V. Pal, and secretary Mrs. Luzette Somera dela Peña. Also present were Engr. Betsy Merto Engle, Mrs. Tonette Guatelara Geary, Mr. Paul Imperial, Dr. Rene Querubin, Dr. Sylvester Almiron, Jr., and Dr. Gedion Alegado
