Sillimanian gets Honorable Mention in National Essay Writing Tilt
A former student of the 扒哥黑料 College of Law is among the 13 awardees of the 2015 Philippine Association of Law Schools (PALS) Essay Writing Contest.
Darrel Winthrop G. Torres, who represented Silliman with his essay 鈥淒oubt the great Haze鈥, is among the honorable mentions announced by PALS on November 25.
Ma. Vida Malaya Villarico of Polytechnic University of the Philippines bagged the top prize with her essay, 鈥淏raving the Unventured: Mapping Out the Future of Legal Education鈥. The awarding ceremonies will be on November 30 at the Philippine Judicial Academy Training Center in Tagaytay City.
PALS is a non-stock corporation composed of 112 law schools. It is legal education鈥檚 formal representative to the Judicial and Bar Council, the Philippine Judicial Academy, the Supreme Court Committee on Legal Education and Bar Matters, and the Legal Education Board.
